Buster Tolfree is Managing Director of Mortgages, BTL and Bridging at specialist lender United Trust Bank. Buster has over 25 years of management experience in the Financial Services industry with senior and executive roles at a variety of banks and other lending institutions. Buster joined United Trust Bank in 2014 to create the Bank’s Mortgage division, initially launching into the Second Charge market in 2015 and following up with a range of specialist first charge residential and BTL mortgage products catering for borrowers underserved by mainstream lenders. Most recently he was appointed Managing Director of UTB’s merged Mortgages, BTL and Bridging division. A multi-award winning mortgage professional, Buster is a prominent advocate of fintech and innovation in the mortgage industry and a member of the Executive Committees of the Open Property Data Association (OPDA) and Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA).
