Joe is responsible for policy areas including DB, DC, and LGPS pension provision, corporate and scheme governance and institutional investment issues. He is a Board member of the Cost Transparency Initiative, and an advisor to the LGPS Scheme Advisory Board (England & Wales). Before joining the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, Joe spent nine years at the Pension Protection Fund, where his last role was Head of Chief Executive’s Office. Earlier in his career he worked in policy and operational roles within central Government, including the Home Office and Defra.
